Rabbi Shalom Muskat
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA., Rabbi Shalom Muskat studied for many years under HaRav Henoch Leibowitz, zt"l, in Queens, New York. He also studied under HaRav Binyomin Paler, zt"l, in Yeshiva M'kor Chaim. He received Yoreh-Yoreh/Yadin-Yadin Semicha in 1995, has served as a Maggid Shiur in Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel in Brooklyn for 26 years, and is presently the Dean of the Bais Yaakov of Montreal.
When he's not in the Bais Yaakov building, (or learning...), he has snuck in public speaking engagements, and some writing for Artscroll, Feldheim, the Yated Ne'eman, and the Flatbush Jewish Journal. The Muskat's have four married children. Rabbi Muskat and his wife, Devorah, live in Montreal, Quebec. |
